For this project, the PHASE division of INRA is collaborating with Iowa State University (ISU, James Reecy and Cary Park), which is part of a consortium that includes Rat Genome Database (RGD) and Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI). Both these American consortia have a “human health” aim and various databases dedicated to these two species.
European partners have also participated to the ATOL project, through contracts with the EU like EADGENE (European Animal Disease Genomics Network of Excellence) for animal health, and to a lesser extent SABRE (Cutting Edge Genomics for Sustainable Animal Breeding) for bovine reproduction, as well as AQUAEXCEL (AQUAculture infrastructures for EXCELLence in European Fish research) for fish farming.
